The SHELLSHOCKED Screening at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City took place on March 10, 2013 and featured a performance by Bob Wright and Harbortown, whose songs from the album 'Oyster Aristocracy' are featured in the film!
Filmmaker Emily Driscoll and the Harbor School’s Pete Malinowski and student Joy Junious participated in a Q&A after the screening.
SHELLSHOCKED Star and Environmental Artist is unveiling her new sculpture tonight in Soho. La Boheme: A Portrait of our Oceans in Peril, Series II (2013) was inspired by her trip to collect plankton off the Coast of Chile.
Talented and environmentally conscious bluegrass musician and historian Bob Wright performs music about the old oyster industry (and much more) in NY with his band Harbortown! Three of his songs are featured in SHELLSHOCKED, and they truly bring the oyster history stories to life.
